Use only Extra Virgin Olive oil(First cold pressed) or coconut butter or oil; occasionally organic butter. Never use butter substitutes, butter spreads (even if made from olive oil) or any type of margarine. You can make a great salad dressing using olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Also you may use Greek yogurt. Other options to combine with oil are raw apple cider vinegar, red vinegar, lemon or lime juice. Do not use commercially prepared salad dressings as they promote weight gain and inflammation. Check our recipes for some delicious dressings.

To make a tasty and super healthy salad dressing mix the olive oil with balsamic vinegar, and to add consistency add a bit of mustard. You can also use other vinegars, white or red, apple cider, or lemon and lime juice.
Fats are important and a healthy part of this program. Butter, fish oils, olive, coconut, almond, macadamia nut and grape seed oils are fine. No vegetable oils, canola oil, hydrogenated oil.
Butter is fine to use-choose organic, unsalted. Avoid margarine or any other butter substitute even if claimed to be made with olive oil.
