Step 1

Put all the ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth.  Garnish with fresh Italian Parsley.

Ingredients

  • 14 oz.  cooked chickpeas or black beans (drained, but save 3 tbsp of their water)
  • 2 tbsp tahini sauce
  • 3 tbsp of chickpeas or black beans water
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, crushed (use less if you prefer a milder garlic flavor)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Fresh Italian Parsley to garnish
