- 14 oz. cooked chickpeas or black beans (drained, but save 3 tbsp of their water)
- 2 tbsp tahini sauce
- 3 tbsp of chickpeas or black beans water
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, crushed (use less if you prefer a milder garlic flavor)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- ½ tsp salt
- Fresh Italian Parsley to garnish
