About soup
- We distinguish soup in two types, the “rich soup”which can contain lentils, beans, grains, potatoes and chicken, and the “simple soup” which is made only from vegetables. In all our soups the broth is always clear. You can prepare your soup with a low-salt chicken or vegetable broth. During the cleanse it is preferred you only use water as a base for your soups.
- Portion? 1 cup for the rich soup (considering only the solid part, with liquid it comes to about 1 ½ cup) and up to 2 cups for the simple soup. What matters of course is how much oil you have used in the preparation of the soup, less oil you use the more liquid you can have. Finally for any soup you have not prepared yourself which contain a variety of ingredients, for example “chili”, your portion is 1 to 1 ½ cups. If the soup appears very rich and heavy stay closer to 1 cup.
- You can have a tbsp. of imported parmesan cheese on your soup.
- You can always add a couple of oz. of chicken to the soup.
